I am pretty sure this a piss take but its pretty fuckin brilliant and if not its even more genius. Click here to see a preview of Mr Tellers summer 2008 campaign for Marc Jacobs with Messrs Bjorn Borg and John McEnroe.
Knowing that we are big Juergen Teller fans here at the 'Jackanory' big up to 'ghfuse' for passing the link our way.

was Teller the one that doesn't speak or was that Penn? I can never remember.
Okay, wait, really!? Really? Please tell me both you and Mr. AVS are kidding me. Jacko, I understand you like this for it's irony, and of course because you're a Juergen fan, but WTF? Now all this photo-insider blog business is cute and all, and for the most part APE knows the business and says so without sounding like an entitled mary (AVS!) But can we stop groveling, please? It's now a little more out of hand than any high school experience I remember - simply because he is he and Marc is Marc means nothing in relation to this being fucking good. The Marc ads are in most part beautifully fun, but this is total shite and I have a feeling most would agree. "Genius" or "well done" is such a far cry coming from a noted editorial photographer and a holier than thou photo agent.
Marc Jacobs has always been a postmodern balloon - empty and meaningless to critics, beautiful and fascinating to others. Tellers witty and shamless photography has added the necessary kick.
All of that you can see looking at the "real" ads already.
The persiflage website is using this context and highlighting it. To call it brilliant is justified if you feel postmodern irony and mixing is still the way to go.
I do think calling it brilliant was also under spec that Marc himself is behing the persiflage.
=The irony of the irony of the irony of the irony.
Sorry to disappoint, but they would never have done that
