Yours truly photographed by the great Glenn Glasser at the SPD awards gala May 10 Cipriani Wall Street.
It was my first time attending and have to say it was a super super fun night. Thrilled to have been there too with the Trunk mag crew and even more thrilled that they took home some well deserved awards.
Big ups to Glenn for making me look human. Go here to see a gallery of all the attendee’s in all their finery. See if you can spot your favorite photo editors and creatives….

Excited to be making my debut at the SPD Awards Gala tonight. Even more excited to be going with the Trunk magazine crew. The Fall/Winter 2012 issue I contributed is up against some of the big boys in the Photo:Entire Issue Award. List of all the nominees here.
In preparation I have a long day of pampering ahead between a facial, manicure, pedicure, hair cut, beard cut. And all before my stylist arrives with a multitude of wardrobe choices for the nights proceedings. Who will I wear ? Prada, Gucci, Versace, Men’s Wearhouse?

What do Clooney, Stiller, Cheadle, Spielberg, Hendricks, Heffner, Conan and yours truly have in common? Well we have all been photographed by friend an inspirator, the incredibly talented Signore Joe Pugliese

Joe took part in SPD’s guest speaker series Unsung Heros out in LA showcasing talent living and working on the left coast. The video above was shown on the night.

Man has Joe been on fire for some time now. He just gets better and better. Hey he even managed to make me look mildly cool and interesting around the 37 second mark. That takes real talent.

Here’s to you Joe Pug…
